Terrace Bird Net in Jaipur

A terrace is usually the single largest open space in a home — which is exactly why pigeons treat it as their own. Drying clothes, a rooftop garden, an evening sitting area, or the water tank — all of it gets harder to use once birds move in. A properly fitted terrace bird net keeps the whole space usable again, without turning it into a cage.

Why terraces are a bigger problem than balconies

A terrace isn't just larger than a balcony — it's usually flat, fully open to the sky, and has multiple things birds like: a parapet ledge to perch on, a water tank or machine room that creates a sheltered corner, and often very little foot traffic to scare them off during the day. Once pigeons settle on a terrace, droppings collect on drying clothes, garden pots, and the floor itself — and because the whole area is exposed, a partial fix rarely holds.

What a terrace netting installation includes

• A free site visit to measure the full terrace, including any water tank, machine room, or stair-head cabin that changes the shape of the area
• UV-stabilized HDPE netting sized to your terrace's actual bird problem (25mm, 38mm, or 50mm mesh)
• Netting anchored to the parapet wall or a raised frame, depending on whether you still want to walk and dry clothes underneath
• Higher-ply netting recommended for large, fully open terraces exposed to Jaipur's wind
• A written warranty on the full installation

Terrace-only netting vs. whole-building netting

If pigeons are only a problem on your own terrace — not the shared stairwell, other floors, or the building's outer facade — terrace-only netting is the right scope and keeps costs sensible. If the issue spans multiple floors or the whole building facade, that's a bigger job worth planning together; see our plastic bird netting for buildings page for that scale of work.

What it costs

Terrace netting is priced per sq.ft, and since terraces are typically larger than a single balcony, the total is higher — but the per-sq.ft rate is often a little better at that size. The real variable is layout: a plain rectangular terrace is straightforward, while a water tank, machine room, or uneven parapet height changes the job, which is why we confirm exact pricing on the free site visit rather than quoting blind.
